Abstract

The aim of the elaboration is to present the scientific actions of professor Victor Łechta for the theoretical and practical solutions in special pedagogy and logopaedics. It especially underlines his input in creating the concept of logopaedics as a standalone scientific discipline worthy of the 21st century and his actions as an author and supporter of the terms "impaired communication ability" and "symptomatological communication ability disorders".
