Abstract

The announcement contains a description of the initial query made in resources of Wrocław libraries, which aim was to search for materials associated with task of The Commission of National Education (KEN). Search query is being conducted at Ossoliński National Institute in Wrocław, mainly in the Manuscripts Department and Early Imprints Department and in a university library. On this base a thematic bibliography is being created and source materials are being collected As regards the original manuscripts relevant to the work about KEN, the results are mediocre. The reason for this is specificity of Wrocław libraries resources, arising mainly from German collections and incomplete archives led after the II WW to Wrocław.
