| dc.description.abstract | The below article is to present the current state of the sources for the history of The
Commission of National Education, which are stored in the libraries and archives in
Cracow. We analysed the source materials found in the Library and Archives of the
Jagiellonian University, the Library of the Archive of the Polish Academy of Arts and
Sciences and the Polish Academy of Sciences (Cracow branch), the Science Library of the
Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Czartoryski Museum and Library in Cracow,
Jagiellonian University Museum, the National Archives in Cracow, Cracow Archdiocese
Archives and the Archives of the Jesuits Church in Cracow. The preliminary studies and
the issues undertaken here are important in the context of the ongoing research on the
achievements of The Commission of National Education in connection to the decade
celebrating the 250th anniversary of its existence. | en_EN |
