dc.description.abstractThe contents concerning foundation and activity of The Commission of National Education in curricula and history school-books prepared for elementary schools in the period of the People’s Republic of Poland were the main goal of presented article. Between the years 1944 and 1989, the mentioned problems were present in curricula and school-books contents, confirmed by the proper Minister of Education. Because everything, what was going on at school area, had to be connected with authorities’ ideology, curricula and school-books were full of Marxism and Leninism ideology. In that period the issues of The Commission of National Education were interpreted in accordance with proper ideology, either.en_EN
