Językowe środki wartościowania negatywnego w wypowiedziach polityków

Abstract

The subject of an analysis are means of negative valuing used by politicians and journalists in discussions on the radio. Research material was gathered from M. Olejnik’s series of programmes "Siódmy dzień tygodnia/ The Seventh Day of the Week" broadcasted from March 2003 to May 2004. The author of the paper studies linguistic means that have lexical and textual character. From her observation it appears that in discussions words having primary valuing meaning occurs rarely; besides negative valuing of an opponent is simultaneously positive valuing of the sender.
