In the recent years, issues related to school safety have been the subject of numerous lectures and extensive research.
Changes that took place in the society, including changes in education, have caused a number of changes, also unfavourable
ones. Increasing verbal and physical aggression among students can certainly be enumerated as one of them. This type of
behaviour significantly influences the level of perception of mood and safety of all people at school. Educational institutions
undertake different steps, including implementation of remedial programs, to counteract the negative phenomenon. We present
this situation on the example of a school located near Krakow. The situation has been deeply analysed and the results of
implementing the project whose aim is improving safety at school, is presented in this article.
