The methods for checking brakes – by roller devices for measuring braking forces – a quasistatic
method, which consists in measuring the braking force with a small rotating wheel
speed car, is presented. The disadvantage of this method is neglecting the dynamic nature
of inhibition; however, for the functionality of inspection stations, this method is the most
common for testing braking systems. The presented method shows the effectiveness of
braking of particular wheels in the front and rear axles. The method of testing the operation
of the brakes by decelerometer is used to measure and record real-time latency for braking
vehicles including car trailers, tractors, and other motorcycles. The suitability of braking
system determined by measuring the deceleration is still not appreciated by diagnostician.
An advantage of using the decelerometer is also the possibility of using it by the control
authorities to check the condition of vehicles on the road.
