Abstract
The aim of the study was to investigate users’ opinion on the perception of the people working in the profession of a librarian. Questionnaire survey consisted of 11 closed questions and it referred to the image of librarians, and relations occurring between the users of the library and library staff. On the basis of the responses was presented the dependence: the librarian vs. the image of the library. The article is based on research conducted among 1 046 students of the first year at the Pedagogical University of Cracow.
