| dc.description.abstract | Libraries, as institutions participating in the educational process, influence the shaping of
perceptions and attitudes towards them, therefore it is important to ensure public acceptance
for such organizations. In order to improve the image of the library, those institutions should
actively work and develop new initiatives. Actions taken by the libraries should take into
account the needs of regular and potential users. Building solid relationships with internal
and external environment is crucial for libraries. To determine the current image of the Main
Library of the Pedagogical University of Cracow and study the level of users’ satisfaction,
surveys have been conducted on a group of 920 students. Research aimed at understanding
the degree of students’ satisfaction and the evaluation of the environment, in this case of the
students of the university to an institution, as well as actions that need to be taken in order to
improve the image of the library. | en_EN |
