Tożsamość bohaterów pokolenia Tekstyliów w polskiej prozie i filmie fabularnym na początku XXI wieku (lata 1999-2014)

Abstract

Przedmiotem rozprawy jest tożsamość literackich i filmowych bohaterów, będących reprezentantami pokolenia Tekstyliów. Terminem tym postanowiłem określić debiutujących na początku XXI stulecia pisarzy i reżyserów, urodzonych w latach siedemdziesiątych lub na początku następnej dekady. Nazwa pochodzi od tytułu antologii opublikowanej w 2002 roku zatytułowanej Tekstylia. O „rocznikach siedemdziesiątych” oraz jej kontynuacji w postaci Tekstyliów bis. Słownika młodej polskiej kultury. Głównym założeniem obu publikacji było zaprezentowanie sylwetek i dokonań artystów rozpoczynających działalność artystyczną na początku trzeciego tysiąclecia i urodzonych zasadniczo w siódmej dekadzie. W swojej pracy uwzględniłem utwory prozatorskie i filmowe tych spośród „tekstyliantów”, którzy w mniej lub bardziej jawny sposób próbują opisać/zobrazować członków swojej generacji. Rozprawa zakłada uwzględnienie rozmaitych dyskursów i kontekstów antropologicznych, filmoznawczych, literaturoznawczych i socjologicznych. Z tego względu, dokonując analizy i interpretacji prozy i filmów fabularnych, posłużyłem się ustaleniami poetyki kulturowej (nowego historyzmu). W świetle tej koncepcji dzieła artystyczne funkcjonują jako teksty kultury bezpośrednio związane z kontekstem społeczno–kulturowym, w którym zostały wytworzone. Innymi, wykorzystywanymi metodami są socjologia literatury oraz socjologia filmu.

This dissertation discusses identity of literary and film protagonists, who are the representatives of Textiles’ generation. Throughout the paper the term will be applied to writers and film directors born in the 70s or at the beginning of the 80s, who made their debuts at the beginning of the 21st century. The term derives from the title of the anthology published in 2002, Textiles. About “Generations of the 70s” and its follow up Textiles Bis. A Dictionary of Young Polish Culture. The idea behind both of the publications is to present achievements of national writers, poets, film and stage directors, visual arts and comic books artists and musicians, who started their work at the beginning of the third millennium and were mostly born in the 70s. This paper includes prose and film works of these Textiles’ representatives who more or less overtly attempt to describe/depict members of their generation. This dissertation presumes taking into account the whole network of functionally combined various discourses and anthropological, film and literary theory and sociological contexts. Hence, when analysing and interpreting prose works and feature films, findings of Cultural Poetics (New Historicism) will be applied. In the light of this theory artistic works function as culture texts directly connected with socio-cultural context where they originated. Other applied methodologies will be the sociology of literature and the sociology of film.
