Z dziejów medycyny naturalnej, czyli o księgach zielarskich

Abstract

В статье вкратце излагается история европейских медицинских книг и гербариев с древнейших времен до конца XVII века. Учитываются в основном те из рукописных и печатных инкунабулов, которые известны были восточным славянам или, возможно, попали на территорию восточной Европы. Надеемся, что конфронтативный анализ выше указанных книг с русскими лечебниками и травниками позволит в будущем назвать источники медицинских знаний восточных Славян.

The paper presents an outline of the European history of medical books and armorials since ancient times to the end of the 17th century. It takes into consideration only those manuscripts and old prints which were known or could have appeared in the areas of Eastern Europe. The comparative analysis of the texts mentioned above with the Old Russian and Russian botanical manuscripts and herbals might help to identify the sources of medical knowledge of Eastern Slavs.
