Abstract

In the present work the coefficients of the polynomial $(1 + z +z^2 + ... + z^{μ-1})^n$ are studied. They may be treated as a generalization of the binomial coefficients. Numerous identities for these coefficients are proved. Further, the basic properties of these numbers are provided.
