The socio-educational environments closest to an individual are family, peer group,
school, local environment, place of work, as well as media recognized in a broad sense.
Particular environments affect the human by providing them with all sorts of incentives
under which they may develop, form their personality, as well as improve the ability to
interact with the milieu. The specificity of the socio-educational environment determines
the way the individual spends their leisure time, whether they have an opportunity to
develop their interests, whether people and institutions that they are surrounded by notice
their capabilities and create appropriate conditions to realize their passion. The article
aims to present, on the basis of the author’s own research results, how the particular
socio-educational environments supported the development of musical interests of
choristers.
