The theoretical analyses of fun as a kind of activity that has particular importance in the
process of child development, occupied much space in the various scientific disciplines.
The multiplicity and diversity of pedagogical, psychological, sociological but also anthropologic,
cultural studies, literary, historical, ethnographic analyses points to the ambiguity
of explaining the function and effects of the activity playgroup. Ambivalence of fun
description can be summarized in its ludic vs. professionalization, ludic vs. reality. Fun
features duality can be seen in its analysis as the choices which are shaped by the environment
or choices shaped by man. Fun value justifies in its importance for the development
of cognitive and social development of the child. Each playgroup activity (group and single)
is accompanied by ambivalent emotions. Probably there are many other perspectives,
in which fun could be realized as an ambivalent activity. In this text we will present
some of its bivalence in the context contained in the title.
