dc.description.abstract | The article presents the conclusions drawn from the educational project To feel – to know – to understand which was
realized with the participation of students from the University of Wroclaw specializing at the Education and
rehabilitation of disabled people. The aim of the project was to find out what the attitudes of the society towards
blind people are and to familiarize the future special educators with the experiences of people with sight
impairment. That goal was achieved. What is more, the experiences described became resources on the way to further
explore the world. It could result not only in drawing conclusions pertinent to the attitude of people with normal
eyesight towards the blind but in a reformulation of one’s own picture of the world, obtaining broader perspective
on the reality and one’s own place in that reality. | en |
