Kamuflaż i wypalenie autystyczne a jakość życia (młodych) dorosłych osób ze stanami ze spektrum autyzmu

Abstract

W rozprawie doktorskiej podjęto rozważania teoretyczne i empiryczne dotyczące jakości życia (młodych) dorosłych osób ze stanami ze spektrum autyzmu w kontekście kamuflażu i wypalenia autystycznego. Struktura pracy obejmuje trzy rozdziały teoretyczne, część metodologiczną, dwa rozdziały empiryczne, a także rozdział poświęcony dyskusji wyników i ich praktycznym implikacjom. Zwieńczeniem rozprawy jest przedstawienie projektu mobilnej aplikacji wspierającej psychospołeczne funkcjonowanie osób w spektrum autyzmu. W badaniach wykorzystano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego przy zastosowaniu techniki ankiety. Uzyskane wyniki pozwoliły na stwierdzenie, że (1) istnieje pozytywna zależność, pomiędzy wiekiem osób ze spektrum autyzmu a poziomem jakości ich życia oraz kamuflażem; (2) istnieje pozytywna zależność pomiędzy nasileniem cech autystycznych a poziomem kamuflażu oraz poziomem wypalenia autystycznego; (3) istnieje pozytywna zależność pomiędzy kamuflażem a wypaleniem autystycznym; (4) istnieje negatywna zależność pomiędzy kamuflażem, wypaleniem autystycznym a jakością życia młodych dorosłych osób ze stanami ze spektrum autyzmu.

The doctoral dissertation explores theoretical and empirical considerations regarding the quality of life of (young) adult individuals on the autism spectrum in the context of camouflage and autistic burnout. The structure of the dissertation includes three theoretical chapters, a methodological section, two empirical chapters, and a chapter dedicated to discussing the results and their practical implications. The dissertation concludes with the presentation of a mobile application project aimed at supporting the psychosocial functioning of individuals on the autism spectrum. The research was conducted using the diagnostic survey method with the questionnaire technique. The obtained results indicate that: (1) there is a positive relationship between the age of individuals on the autism spectrum and their quality of life as well as camouflage; (2) there is a positive relationship between the severity of autistic traits and the level of camouflage and autistic burnout; (3) there is a positive relationship between camouflage and autistic burnout; (4) there is a negative relationship between camouflage, autistic burnout, and the quality of life of young adult individuals on the autism spectrum.
