Abstract
The peer group is characterized by the presence of close social ties and mutual acceptance of its participants. The influence of the peer group is marked in the development and in the process of bringing the child up very early, but its special significance increases during school education. The aim of our research was to learn the types of relationships established by young people with moderate or severe intellectual disabilities in the school environment.
