Odnawianie znaczeń. IV część Dziadów w szkole ponadgimnazjalnej

Abstract

The article has been devoted to the ability to design a situation of a literary text reception at school which is treated as an essential part of Polonist’s workshop. The aim of the research is to show how to use contemporary literary methodologies in school practice on the basis of the IV part of‚ „Dziady” by Adam Mickiewicz. The presented project complements interpretations of Mickiewicz’s drama in respect of a category of romantic love that have been dominant in practice up to date. Interpretation of the IV part of‚ „Dziady” has been extended to include existential questions concerning both building a man’s identity as well as its loss (motif of Gustaw as Nobody) and function of memory in this process (Gustaw’s memories).
