The author of the article focuses on parody as an aesthetic and cultural phenomenon in an
educational context. Janusz Waligóra notes the popularity of parody in contemporary culture
(and pop culture), he draws attention to the problems connected with defining this term and
juxtaposes different attitudes to the parody.
The argument is illustrated with a large number of literary examples. Their analysis is
a departure point for students to write their own literary works. Waligóra presents and
comments on the most interesting of them.
