The paper presents the styles of management in the company with particular emphasis on participatory one. It is
described the concept of self-efficacy, its relationship to the process of management and its impact on the overall
functioning of the employee in the company. The model of a fully participatory organization developed by Ryszard
Stocki, Piotr Prokopowicz and Grzegorz Żmuda, which is the organizational solution aimed at improving sense of
satisfaction from the work of each employee, was presented. It has been shown that participatory style not only
provides employees the greatest satisfaction of all possible systems, but is also the most productive way to manage,
strengthening the employee self-efficacy.
