dc.description.abstractThe work presents theoretical basis nad the results of research into relations between the didactic aids and creative thinking. The aim was to determine the influence of introducing didactic aids into problem methods on the didactic effects of a lesson. In order to get proper description the author introduces the terms of visual and verbal proceeding. It is widely known, that individual features such as cognitive style, self-evaluation, intelligence level and temperament strongly correlate with creative thinking. It was also assumed that introducing didactic aids has a negative influence on creative thinking. The last hypothesis is not confirmed by the present research. The use of didactic aids results in the growth of the level of creative thinking although the increase depends on individual features of students. The conclusion is applicable regardless of the time during which didactic aids were applied in teaching. The research shows that didacitc effectiveness and the level of creative thinking depend on meaning and context of information presented with the use of didactic aids. The work also includes practical advices for teachers on the design and use of didactic aids in educational process.en_EN
