Receiving-sending model of acquiring the language of valuation presented in the paper deals with some aspects of
classroom communication which - according to the author - is primarily receiving. Efficiency of teachers’
utterances depends on a present level of pupils’ knowledge and on their communicative (especially: receiving)
skills.
Analysing pupils’ compositions on literature the author proves that pupils are conscious receivers of valuating
opinions.
