Bezpieczeństwo kulturowe w Polsce w dobie dzisiejszej cywilizacji - zarys problematyki

Abstract

Discussions about the cultural safety are connected today - apart from widely comprehended safety issues or in more detail safeties of the man - with examinations in frames of other fields of science. The issue of cultural safety as one of possible kinds of the safety, is a relatively little examined category, distinguished in the 1990s. It is a category from the borderland of many humanities, with which for instance cultural studies, history and pedagogy of the culture are the closest. Examining the safety in the culture in Poland is also connected directly with many areas of social and political life, from recent history, socio-political transformations of the past decades, especially the collapse of the socialist system in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as finding out the Polish NATO structures and integration within the European Union and other international organizations, which led to the creation of new cultural circumstances affecting the security of the wider issues in Poland and around the world. The author taking a theoretical discourse in this area raises several important questions regarding new patterns and values that may threaten the culture.
