dc.description.abstract | Didactics of Polish language and literature is based on many disciplines. It joins science and
methodology, and they complement each other. Whoever wants to follow this complex and
syncretic discipline has to be both a theoretician and a practitioner. University scholars are
engaged in completion of the theoretical background as well as in its practical realization.
They are authors of scientific publications, manuals, popular articles, expertises, and reviews,
and members of opinion-making bodies. They prepare their students to become competent
