Signing legal treaties by the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan means that
the country takes up responsibility to create health security for its citizens that
lives up to international standards. Afghanistan is an Islamic country. Therefore,
during undertaking any actions in this matter religious conditions need to
be taken into consideration.
This article presents the analysis of the duties of the Islamic Republic of
Afghanistan in the area of health security. All this stems from joining legal
treaties such as International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
as well as Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against
Women. The following article also contains the analysis of health security
from the point of view of Islam. Moreover, it shows laws endorsement process
in the area of health security consistent with the rules of Islam.
