Literacka poetyka i jej filozoficzna funkcja w sztuce współczesnej na przykładzie konceptualnych projektów Ona Kawary i Romana Opałki

Abstract

The text refers to the conceptual tradition of concentrating on the intellectual transmission of a work of art looking at Joseph Kosuth’s actions as an example it points out how the manifestation of resistance to the excess of theories in the world of art did not interfere with the fact that in some philosophical texts there have been many aspects taken from literary poetics. The basic emphasis of the text is to point out how elements like narration, metaphor and the semiotic operations on signs function in the long-distance of Kawara and Opałka. It is also proved that the use of the operations analysed by literary poetics and by semioticians (especially Roland Barthes in his late, phenomenological period) encourages the recipient to deep reflection, close to philosophical issues of cognition, the character of time and space, thought, being, identity, relation with Other, therefore the issues analysed by for example Kant, Husserl, Heidegger or Lévinas.
