The highlighted areas include: − subject of special education − goal of special education − forms of special education − education programs in special education − people responsible for the implementation of special education The conclusion can be drawn that the Polish special education system has undergone a visible modernization. Education of students with disability becomes less “special”. It complies with the normalization principle formulated by Wolfensberger.en
