Badania nad słownictwem obcym w podręcznikach i lekturach klas początkowych

Abstract

Rozprawa przedstawia wyniki badań prowadzonych nad słownictwem etymologicznie obcym w podręcznikach i lekturach dla klas I-IV szkoły podstawowej. Zastosowano tutaj metodę statystyki lingwistycznej, by przy jej pomocy stwierdzić stan ilościowy leksyki zapożyczonej, sklasyfikowanej według źródła pochodzenia. Drugim założeniem dysertacji było zbadanie stopnia zrozumienia i opanowania tejże leksyki przez uczniów klasy III, IV i V (analiza testów słownikowych i wypracowań uczniowskich). Praca zawiera także rozdział o charakterze metodycznym, w którym zawarte są propozycje różnorodnych ćwiczeń z zastosowaniem wyrazów obcych.

The dissertation shows the results of researches which were carried out on etymologically foreign vocabulary in textbooks and suggested readings for classes 1 to 4 in primary school. The method of linguistic statistics was applied here, to assess the quantity of the lexis borrowed and classify it according to its source of orgin. The next assumption of this dissertation was to do the research into the extent of understanding and mastering this lexis by pupil from classes: 3, 4 and 5 (the analysis of vocabulary tests and pupils essays). The dissertation also includes one chapter of methodological character in which there are suggestions of varied exercises with use foreign words.
