The paper discusses the University teaching staff’s achievements concerning the language
of children and young people and classroom interaction.
Special attention is paid to research methodology and research results and their teaching
implications. The prognostic significance of research results is emphasised since it is
strictly connected with future language phenomena and with the verification of research
methodology. The establishment of future activities referring to teaching practice is also
considered important.
