The paper discusses the distribution of 152 species of weevils of the subfamily Entiminae (excluding the tribe Otiorhynchini), which have so far been reported from Poland. Among studied weevils 135 species have been included to the contemporary fauna (references from the years 1950 to 2016), while the presence of the other 17 species requires confirmation. Characteristics of each species include: 1. Latin name according to Löbl & Smetana (2013). The names in square brackets indicate the species not collected in Poland after 1949. 2. The synonymous names – only when Smreczyński (1966, 1968) or Burakowski et al. (1993, 1995) give a different species name. 3. Map of localities (grid 10 × 10 km). On the maps additional information is given: 3.1. The numbers at some localities refer to comments in the text. The numbers along with exclamation mark (!) it means a locality that requires confirmation. Type range in Poland (according to the classification by Mazur, 2016). Explanation of symbols used: E – eastern range l – lowland zone, m – mountain zone, PL – countrywide range, S – southern range, SE – south-eastern range, SW – south-western range, u – highland zone, W – western range, → disjunctive type localities in another geographic or another physiographic areas. 3.2. Species frequency in Poland (PL), and optionally in a certain part of the country (explanations above). 3.3. Habitat preferences of the species. Explanation of symbols: d – trees and shrubs layer; hi – hygrophilous environment; ks – xerophytic environment; kt – xerothermophilous environment; Ll – deciduous and mixed forest; Ls – conifer forest; me – mesophilic environment; Mu – grasslands and meadows; r – undergrowth and litter layer; Zi – herb associations; K – scrub; ellipsis (...) indicates a gradual transition between indicated properties of the environment. Year of the last record (N). The date in brackets points year of a relevant publication; date without brackets means the year of the last field record. The graphic symbol (a square with crossed arrows) shows (through appropriate direction of arrows occurrence of the species in areas adjacent to Poland from the West (East Germany – former GDR), south (the Czech Republic and / or Slovakia), East (Western Ukraine, Belarus and / or Lithuania) and the North (Kaliningrad area and / or Sweden). 4. Citations from references used in the present work. 5. The list of previously unpublished localities, arranged according to geographical regions. 6. Comments on the distribution of a species in Poland. Symbol Q points the year of the last record.en
