The article refers to the concept of hermeneutics with some elements of Dilthey’s approach, and the hermeneutics of Gadamer. The above assumptions are treated as primary aims in the broadly understood didactics of cultural education. They can be generally described and understood as: the ability to be among people, the understanding of the wisdom of people, the ability to seek the truth about the order of the world and the place of a human in the 21st century world. In the field of culture and literary studies, hermeneutics undoubtedly inspires authors of school curricula and didactic innovators, which most probably aids the creation of “the modern creative school”. The author finds it necessary to allow access to the results of studies containing information on a student, not only in the area of pedagogy and psychology, but also in the socio-cultural one. Becoming familiar with students and gaining knowledge about them is a basic requirement for the efficacy of actions whose aims are to improve: the way of explaining cultural traditions to students, the method of teaching culture studies, the realization of pedagogical goals, and even to achieve the element of art therapy in teaching.en_EN
