The matter of considerations of the following paper is the method of artistic tutoring
carried out in the Artistic and Academic Secondary School ALA in Częstochowa. The
author of the paper decided to conduct written interviews with teachers working in the
school who use the method. Thanks to the information that was obtained in this way,
the text presents their knowledge and opinions concerning among others definition
of artistic tutoring method, description of tutor and apprentice meetings (tutorials),
characteristics that distinguish the method of artistic tutoring from other tutoring
methods, the relationship between artistic tutor and his student, as well as the effects of
application of the method. Moreover, the following paper presents a sketchy description
of the Artistic and Academic Secondary School ALA in Częstochowa and the method
of tutoring as such.
