Social animation in a pedagogic thought appears thanks to works of Helena Radlińska
concerning looking for resources attached in the individuals as well as in the groups,
activation of these forces, finding of its constructive using and inclining, encouraging
to an action. Approach of social animation being the method of group work, focused
on motivation, initiative and development of the individuals could be a contribution to
creation of educational interactions leading to the creative activity of students.
Teacher-animator not only provides the essential knowledge, forms the skills of usage
the knowledge acquired, but also forms attitudes of students. He should support students
being the part of particular community i.e. in: diagnosing areas demanding change;
seeking of internal resources, strengths, which will be the basis for actions; building of
partner relations, making alliances; preparing plans and their executions; assessment of
projects and conclusions followed. Basing on social animation technique, we could drive
didactical activities into „creative school” of Henryk Rowid. This speech is devoted to
elements of social animation used in this process.
