Образы леса в русской и украинской литературах второй половины XIX и XX веков : oпыт сопоставительного описания

Abstract

Tematem niniejszej rozprawy jest obraz lasu w literaturze rosyjskiej i ukraińskiej drugiej połowy XIX i XX wieku. Autorka, opierając się na utworach zaczerpniętych z wschodniosłowiańskich literatur przedstawia kolejno ów obraz w utworach literatury pięknej i tej, nawiązującej do folkloru i żywotów świętych. Wizja lasu, której liczne przykłady odnaleźć można w rzeczonych utworach, podlegała ustawicznym transformacjom. Zarówno w utworach o charakterze folklorystycznym, jak i pochodzących z wcześniejszych epok literackich, las najczęściej występuje jako tło, na którym rozwijają się wydarzenia fabularne; natomiast później wizja lasu przekształca się w dynamiczny element utworu, zyskując prawo głosu, stopniowo angażując się w dialog z bohaterem, wywierając nań wpływ i kształtując jego stany psychiczne.

The theme of the current work is the vision of the forest in the Russian and Ukrainian literatures of the second half of the nineteenth and the twentieth centuries. The author, based on the songs taken from East Slavic literatures shows that image in works of fiction, also referring to the folklore and the lives of the saints (hagiographies). The vision of the forest, whose numerous examples can be found in those works, is subject to continuous transformations. Both in the folk songs, and in the earlier literary periods, the forest is most common as a background against which events develop, like in feature films, while later the vision of the forest is transformed into a dynamic part of the work, gaining the right to vote, gradually engaging in dialogue with the character, exerting influence upon him and shaping his psychological states.
