dc.description.abstract | The author recalls the disputes on the presence and functioning of the Bible at school, and
presents the models of “conduct” applied to biblical texts in Polish lessons. It is suggested that
the Bible could be read not only as “the biblical context”, but also as a kind of a hypertext. In
such an approach, the Bible would exist in the Polish lessons as a great text of culture, and its
presence would not be reduced, as it has probably been so far, to providing a context referring
to the literary text analysed in the class. Additionally, the author points to the biblical “pathos
of lack” as a perfect space for interpretation through texts of culture, and regards it as an
opportunity to save the importance of the Biblical word. | en_EN |
