In the paper distribution of 65 weevil species of the tribe Otiorhynchini (the genera Dodecastichus, Otiorhynchus,
and Stomodes) in the territory of Poland is given. Among them 54 species are present in the modern Polish fauna
while presence of other 9 species needs to be confirmed. These are: Otiorhynchus alpicola, O. brauneri, O.
chrysocomus, O. gibbicollis, O. ligneus, O. mastix, O. novellae, O. nubilus, O. orbicularis, O. pigrans, and O.
sensitivus. Distribution range of each species is displayed on map. Some of the localities are provided with
numbers which refer to the comments in the text. Localities requiring updating are marked with exclamation mark
(!). Data on distribution of the studied species come from the referenced literature, various museum collections,
and first of all from the author’s collection from the period 1975-2015. Author carried out classification of all
distribution ranges into 8 types of the first order and into 16 types of the second order. The main criterion was
localisation of a given range taking into account four geographical parts of the country (SE, SW, NE, NW) and three
physiographic zones: mountains, uplands, and lowlands.
